The Browns beat a scrappy Colorado Grizzlies team by the score of 7-5 en route to their sixth straight win.

Eric Cummings got the start on the mound for the Browns pitching a complete game while striking out 10. Cummings allowed only 2 earned runs and kept the Grizzlies off balance all game.

The Browns were up 4-1 in the 5th when Grizzlies SS Roy Prior put them back in the game with a 2-run shot in the top of the inning.

In the bottom of the 5th, Browns 1B JT Bricker launched a 3-run homerun that would put the Browns up for good. Bricker also hit a solo homerun in the 4th inning that was launched onto 17th St. The Browns also had 2 hits apiece from SS Burley Burns, CF Luke Klingensmith and DH Jeff Sillik.

The Browns are now 9-4 on the season and play next Sunday against the Colorado Stars at Ft. Lupton HS.
