After dropping two in a row, the Browns got back on the winning track.
The Browns scored in every inning Sunday beating the Zombies 12-2. Browns 2B Burley Burns continues to carry a hot bat going 2 for 5 with 4 RBI and a homerun. Burns leads the team with 17 hits, a .472 average and 11 RBI in 8 games. SS Brett Lampiasi added 3 hits and 3 stolen bases on the day.
Klingensmith, Nicolov and Cummings also had 2 hits each. Starting pitcher Gino Grasso pitched 6 innings allowing 4 hits, 1 ER and 8 K’s. Grasso has 51 K’s in 40 innings pitched and is holding opponents to a .208 average and a 3.74 ERA.
