The Browns went up 1-0 in the top of the 3rd inning before the defense fell apart in the bottom of the 3rd. The Browns committed 4 fielding errors that led to 6 unearned runs. This is the only inning the Stars would score.

The Browns mounted a comeback in the 7th inning pulling the score to 6-4 before the threat ended. Bricker, Klingensmith and Sillik remained hot at the plate with 2 hits apiece. Browns starting pitcher Gino Grasso threw a complete game and struck out 15 on the day, but took the loss.

The Browns next play the rival Colorado Reds this Sunday at Machebeuf HS at 9am.
