The Wolverines scored one run in the 1st inning and that would be it until the 7th inning.
In the bottom of the 1st Browns lead-off hitter Burley Burns homered on the first pitch he saw to tie the game at one. Two pitches later SS Brett Lampiasi homered to left field to put the Browns up for good. The 1st inning was capped off with a 3-run homerun from pitcher Gino Grasso. 1B Alex Nicolov also added 3 hits on the day.
Grasso also got the win on the mound pitching 5 innings and allowing one run to improve to 4-1 on the season. Luke Klingensmith pitched the 6th and Burns came in to close the 7th inning helping the Browns to their 4th straight win.
The Browns are now 7-4 on the year and face the Colorado Tribe Sunday 4pm at Double Angel Stadium in Parker, CO.
