			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Browns defeated the 4-time and current defending champs, the rival Denver Bulls by a score of 7-5. Starting pitcher Gino Grasso earned his 4th win of the season going 5 innings allowing 1 ER. LHP Jeremiah Batla came in to pitch the final 4 innings allowing 2 runs while striking out 5. The Browns offense was led by LF Evan Martoia and RF Dustin Burns who had 3 hits each. 1B Alex Haag added 2 hits and 2 RBI and newcomer Jason Livernois had 2 hits and 1 RBI in the Browns win.</p>
<p>Starting pitchers Jeremiah Batla (7-0) and Gino Grasso (4-1) are a combined 11-1 on the season with 144 strikeouts in 105 innings and a combined ERA of 1.53. They have allowed only 20 earned runs in 12 games which leads the league. They have held opposing teams to a .209 batting average in the 2010 season.</p>
<p>Offensively the Browns have been led all season by 2B Trent Kutler who leads the team with 25 hits and a .446 average. 1B Dan Kozloski is batting .406 with 17 hits and 13 RBI on the season and CF Tyson Martinez in his 1st season leads the Browns in homeruns (3), walks (8), triples (2) and runs scored (17). C Chris Campassi who is the Browns All-Time hits leader (101) is hitting .347 in 2010. Dustin Burns is hitting .326 with 10 RBI.</p>

The Browns offense was the story of the day led by CF Tyson Martinez who was 3 for 3 with 3 RBI and also hit his team leading 3rd homerun of the season. 2B Trent Kutler added 2 hits and 3 RBI and leads the Browns with a .448 average and 22 hits.</p>
<p>The Browns next face rival Denver Bulls this Sunday at Wheat Ridge High School at 4pm. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Denver Browns improved to 9-1 on the season with a 10-2 win over the Greys. The Browns got a complete game 16 strikeout performance from starting pitcher Gino Grasso.</p>
<p>3B Dan Kozloski had 4 hits on the day with 2 RBI. Kozloski leads the Browns with 12 RBI on the season. 2B Trent Kutler added 3 hits on the day to give him the team lead with 20 on the season. The Greys kept it close at 3-2 until the Browns bats erupted for 7 runs in the 8th inning to help secure the Browns 9th win of the season.</p>
<p> The Browns next play the Twins on July 18th, 12:30pm at Denver East High School.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s time to party with the Denver Browns at our 4th Annual Browns Bash at University Sports Grill. This is a fun event for everyone.</p>
<p>We will have BBQ, music from DJ Finch of EventBeats, prizes and fun. This is going to be an &#8220;Old Fashioned Throwdown&#8221; $10 cover gets you first drink FREE and all the food you can eat. This event will be held in the parking lot at University Sports Grill and is open to fans, friends, kids, families and anyone who wants to have a great time.</p>
<p>Money raised goes to helping the Browns travel to Arizona for the National Tournament in October as well as helping us continue to play the game we love.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Browns beat rival Colorado Reds on Sunday 4-0. Both teams were 7-1 and tied for 1st place in the NABA Elite Wood Bat League. The Browns sit alone in 1st place at the halfway point of 2010 season.</p>
<p>The story of the day was LHP Jeremiah Batla who pitched a complete game shutout allowing only 5 hits and striking out 13. Batla is now 6-0 on the year and continues to step up for the Browns. Veterans Chris Campassi, Evan Martoia and Trent Kutler all had 2 hits on the day. Campassi and Kutler lead the team with 17 hits each.</p>
<p>The Browns are now 8-1 and are off for the 4th of July weekend.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Browns dropped their first game this year, 8-4 to the Pirates. The Browns couldn&#8217;t get anything going offensively and stranded 13 runners on the day. The Browns defense which has been spotless this season was the downfall on Sunday as the Browns committed 4 big errors that led to 6 unearned runs. The Pirates Shane Jones shut the Browns down for 9 innings to earn the victory.</p>
<p>On a positive note, Browns catcher Chris Campassi ripped a single in the 6th inning to reach 100 for his Browns career.</p>
<p>Next up: Browns (7-1) vs. Reds (7-1) Sunday at 12:30pm at East High School.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Browns remain the only undefeated team in the NABA 12 team Elite Wood Bat League. The Browns now 7-0 beat the Mightys 11-1 in 7 innings on Sunday at Denver East High School. </p>
<p>The Browns were led by LHP Jeremiah Batla who once again was dominant on the mound. Batla pitched 6 scoreless innings allowing only one hit while striking out 10. </p>
<p>At the plate CF Tyson Martinez hit his team leading 2nd homerun and also added a 2 more hits with 2 RBI. LF Evan Martoia is starting to get hot with 2 hits and 3 RBI. 2B Trent Kutler added 2 hits and C Chris Campassi had 2 hits to put him at 99 for his career with the Browns. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On a day where offense was limited, the Browns were able to pull off a 1-0 victory with flawless defense, clutch pitching and a solo homerun in the 5th inning from 19 year old 3B Dakota Granzella. </p>
<p>The Browns were held to 3 hits by an outstanding pitching performance from the Nuggets right hander but the Browns pitching and defense were the story of the day. SS Jared Lamberston, CF Tyson Martinez and 2B Trent Kutler all made diving plays at key times in the game to secure the 1-0 win.</p>
<p>Starting pitcher Gino Grasso pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings before leaving the game with an elbow injury but LHP Jeremiah Batla came in to hold the Nuggets scoreless for 4 2/3 innings to earn the win. </p>
<p>The Browns are now 6-0 and are off for Memorial Day weekend but will be back in action on June 6th against the Mightys.</p>

Regis University sophomore Alex Haag had 3 hits and 4 RBI in his first game with the Browns. 2B Trent Kutler added 3 hits and 2 RBI and 1B Dan Kozloski had 4 hits on the day. </p>
<p>Sunday was an amazing day with the Diamondbacks from Aurora Babe Ruth League and Kim from DK Cuisine serving up amazing BBQ. We had over 100 fans come out to the game. We are so grateful for the amazing support and we hope to see you this week when we take on the Grizzlies. Same time, same place!</p>
