Starting pitcher Gino Grasso pitched one inning trying to make a comeback from shoulder injury but could not make it into the 2nd due to the pain in his shoulder. Luke Klingensmith came in to pitch 8 innings and earn the win against a scrappy Twins club.
The Browns regained the lead in the 3rd inning and would not trail again. The Twins kept battling back and in the 9th inning with a 10-7 lead the Browns had to hold off the Twins who plated 2 runs to make it 10-9 before Klingensmith struck out the last hitter to end the game and secure the Browns 2nd straight win. Browns LF Evan Martoia continued his hot hitting with 3 hits and 3 RBI.
