The Browns finished the regular season with a 15-4 win over the Mighty’s improving to 17-3. The Browns will be the #1 seed going into the 2010 playoffs which start Sept. 12th. 2B Trent Kutler finished the day with three hits and also set a Browns single season record with 40 hits. Kutler got hit #38 in the 5th inning to break the previous record of 37 by Chris Campassi in 2009. LHP Jeremiah Batla earned his 10th win on the mound going 6 innings.
The story of the day was Browns player manager Matthew Repplinger who was filling in at catcher. Repplinger in the 4th inning hit a grand slam and then later in the game hit a 2-run double. Repplinger finished the day with 6 RBI.
