The Denver Browns defeated the Colorado Cannons by the score of 5-1 on Sunday afternoon. Browns starter Gino Grasso (9.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 13 K; now 2-1) allowed just four hits and struck out 13 while going the distance as the Browns improved to 3-1 on the season. Trent Kutler, Daniel Neumann and Dustin Burns all had 2 hits each and drove in runs for the Browns.
The Browns have now won three straight after dropping the opener to the Grizzlies 4-1. There was a great fan turnout for the Mother’s Day festivities with FREE massages for all the mother’s courtesy of Shift Chiropractic and Chicago Louie’s Food Truck had a successful day serving food all of our wonderful fans.
The Browns will be back at Denver East this Sunday 12:30pm vs. Mighties (2-2) looking for their fourth straight win.
