The Browns dropped their first game this year, 8-4 to the Pirates. The Browns couldn’t get anything going offensively and stranded 13 runners on the day. The Browns defense which has been spotless this season was the downfall on Sunday as the Browns committed 4 big errors that led to 6 unearned runs. The Pirates Shane Jones shut the Browns down for 9 innings to earn the victory.
On a positive note, Browns catcher Chris Campassi ripped a single in the 6th inning to reach 100 for his Browns career.
