Browns Fall to 1st Place Reds

The 1st place Reds jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the 1st inning with 2-run homers from 1B Matt Jerebker and 3B Matt Barker off Browns starter Luke Klingensmith.
The Browns would score 2 in the 3rd inning but the Reds continued to put up runs and took a 10-2 lead into the 8th inning.
The Browns mounted a comeback scoring 5 in the 8th to cut the lead to 10-7 but Reds closer Matt Barker came into pitch the 9th and retired the Browns in order to secure the Reds victory.
Browns next face the Denver Bulls this Sunday 4pm at Colorado Academy
